Re: Bike stolen
Just looking back through our TRX forum and in the last couple of months there's 2 other thefts and at least 2 attempted thefts - you wouldn't think such an "old" bike would be such a target

Re: ANNUAL SUMMER RIDE ROUTE
WARNING The council have been out and about and are trying to spoil a bit of your fun :( The stretch of the A372 from Westonzoyland to the bridge over the M5 at Bridgwater has just been resurfaced (yesterday I think). It's that lovely "let's spray a bucket of tar and then dump 2 tons of gravel...

Re: Airport
Bristol Airport has a separate motorcycle parking area - I don't know what kind of security they have covering the area though as it's not in the main parking area. Oh - and it's free to park your bike there. Only other alternative would be train to the middle of Bristol and get the airport shuttle ...

Re: Help-Looking for a biker pub for Friday nights.
Good call ... or perhaps The Star at Liverton? We used to go there for SWB meets many moons ago, it was run by a biker then - I think it's changed hands since, but still might be worth a tryFunky wrote:pig and whistle between totnes and scabbot?

Re: Advice on how to kill and get rid of IVY
Get some strong weed killer (look for a high % glyphosate) and use it like paint ... make some cuts on the stems and paint into those cuts and also put it on the leaves. It takes time (weeks) to really start to work, in the meantime cut back the rest of the ivy (especially the leaves) to stop it get...
