Re: Sunny Sunday - Morning Rideout from Taunton
Ah, no problem- I got to the Murco at 5 past and assumed I had just missed you leaving! Headed on to Torrington via B road and had a pretty good run. Roads quite wet though, bike got filthy!
Shame about the puncture, the back roads are covered in crap at the moment..

I'm up for a blat, see you there.
Re: RTTB 2012
Think I remember that section, I marked the roundabout prior to it then the road dropped down and hooked a left. Saw the average speed camera signs and slowed right down trying to work out where they had started (since I'd not been slow through the corner). Then the rest of the pack was disappearing...

Re: RTTB 2012
Pulling back onto the drive just over 12 hours after leaving, that was some ride out! From shivering to baking, twisty farm tracks to sweeping A roads, cheers to everyone and thanks especially to the organisers.
Re: RTTB 2012
Still up for this, got a fresh hoop on the rear and will be at Exeter services to leave for 3:45 (!)

Re: Update on Taz
Great to hear you are on the mend Chris, remember Cal Crutchlow showed us you can still ride a bike with a broken ankle

Re: early ride - sunday july 15th
Cheers for a good ride out, bit frustrating that it's now dry and sunny here. Suppose the bike has earned a wash after those roads

Re: Friendly ride - Sunday July 8th - route posted
Could use double markers if it has been some distance since the previous junction, allows one rider to go off and investigate anyone missing without leaving the junction unmarked. Obviously requires more JMs though.
Re: RTTB 2012
Sorry for the double post, forum was saying posts needed to be approved..
Fingers crossed for the weather then!

Re: Cant Decide on tyres
Certainly everyone has their own preference for tyres and the bike you have definitely makes a big difference, however.. I think a touring tyre is probably the safer bet, as a sports would be wasted on me IMO a dunlop roadsmart would be ideal then, it's more road orientated than sports but still get...
