Re: Anyone know anything about McPherson Motorcycles in Plymouth?

As above, good breakfast. No sign of any MV's yet. Youngish owner. Went to collage with another mechanic I know. Odd in that it is in a townhouse with a barber upstairs. Workshops seem a bit open to the elements. And strangely my new office is 100 yards away. If I see anything happening, I'll let yo...

Re: Bike lift

Yes I had a Warrior stand from Demon Tweeks. It was a licensed copy of the original Bursig stand that all the German race guys use, but less than half the price. Worked quite well. Easy to lift the bike and move around. Only probs was it doesn't lift the front end as high. And if you do a complete b...

Re: 2024 Track Bike Suggestions.....

Spent 5 years on that 1993 YZF750 with 106 bhp.
Had great fun and leaned a lot even if it was 20 years old in the end. I couldn’t go back to though. Tried it once and it was hard work.

There are more Ducatis on track, but I wouldn't recommend one.

Re: Speed Awarness Course

Just got around all this nonsense by going to Spain.

Raced around the Picos mountain roads for 2000Km.

Very few cars, people or police.

Completely destroyed my front tyre though in the process.

Re: Track day tyre advice

I quite fancy the look of the Metz Roadtec 01 SE’s.

Seem to have a good compromise between wet and dry.
