At the minute he's got a round 5 or so bikes, we were riding Beta rev3 200's and a scorpa 250. As it's just him doing the running and maintaining, some bikes were in better state than others but all perfectly useable and more than capable for our skill level! Yeah missed the bargain, M4 services booked for £22 still bloody good.

Actually Si, you sure you haven't booked to stay in Jan cos Travelodge says the £15 room sale is only applicable for staying in Jan/Feb, not for booking IYKWIM :-?

I used to have exactly the same bike with the same problem. Basically kept an eye on ebay and got a 2nd hand one (with rebound adjustment also) for £35. Still old and past its best but it got me thru the MOT :)

My old 1997 gsxr750 had that too, absolute PITA when it's -5C and you have to hold the clutch lever in and the choke down with one hand X(
