Re: Speed -Exeter

Just for fairness i thought i better stick up for speed. Bought a ZZR1200 off them in Feb for a good price and it is excellent, it's never missed a beat, and I had great service from them. It wasnt "sold as seen" mind, I tend to go with what was said before, if they dont like it it must be...

Re: SOUTH WEST BIKERS ANNUAL SUMMER RIDE OUT SUNDAY 4TH MAY 2008

I'm game for the rideout. Guess I better be in one of the slower groups as I havent been back in the old saddle too long and dont want to be holding anyone up

Re: Dropped it !!!

Definitely a bit on the lucky side :D The worst bit was it seemed to take ages to fall over, and i was counting the cost of the damage as it was happening  The Panniers were Brand new and nice and cheap off ebay, I think they just paid for themselves Live and learn tho. It was heavy picking it...

Re: Hotels in France

Thanks chaps

I'm afraid the communal (sp?) toilets are a big no no for the other half, but otherwise the formula 1 looked ideal

Rather go in a tent myself but that would be even worse for her ......sharing a bog ....and creapy crawlys :D

Nevermind, i / we will get there in the end

Re: Hotels in France

Thanks for those Links, just what i was looking for. I will let the beloved make the decision as Amsterdam was my choice, which i've never been allowed to forget  I think it was the mouse running over the bed that finaly did it. Want to get it just right so she will want to go again. With a bi...

Now the beloved has certain requirements........... 1. will definitely not camp 2. will definitely not share a toilet with anyone (maybe me at a push) :D 3....

Re: Ewan McGregor

Wont have a word said against Ewan..... due to the other half having a strange type of fondness for the chap. She was watching the long way down when she mentioned that it might be nice to go round europe on a bike. I pointed out that this would require me actualy getting another bike.....which she ...

Hi from exeter

Hi all

Just returned to bikes after a few years off and bought a lovely zzr1200 from Speed in Exeter

Only moved down this way from portsmouth last year..and with no bike, so dont know much about the bike scene down this way....so hoping to get some good info on good bike roads, pubs etc
