Hobbers - I stand corrected  . 'Hobbo' was a character played by Russ Abbot in a certain long-running tv series that some would say is relevant to SWB's Grey Ones :)): .

Re: New boy out with a SWB contingent

Sounds like a good sunny day was had folks. It must've been warm if Ming turned off his bar warmers!

Looks like we've recruited another' Grey One' into the SWB fold in the shape of Hobbo/Steve :)): .

Re: Thursday 9th May

Well that was a fair old day's biking! A full day out on the bikes, a good length route, properly paced, and ending at a sea front bike night. Nothing not to like!
Thanks due to Brian for organising it and planning some cracking and largely traffic free roads.

Last call for anyone who wants to call in at Robbo's F.O.C. Cafe after Brian's rideout finishes at Bridge, then making their way to Seaton. Mrs R needs to know numbers, currently it's Ptolemyx, Jug and me only.

Re: Seaton Bike Nights 2024.

I can confirm that the Prospect Plaice chippy at Sidmouth sea front is open on Thursday - up to 1700 hrs to eat in and up to 1930 hrs to take away. If you don't mind not scoffing fish and chips and fighting off the marauding seagulls in Sidmouth, an alternative is to grab f.o.c. sandwich, cake and ...

Re: Seaton Bike Nights 2024.

If anyone is looking for a sea front chippy en route to Seaton from Exeter, my recommendation is the Prospect Cafe in Sidmouth. It's on Sidmouth sea front promenade and is right next to The Mocha cafe, both of which are open to 17.30 and 17.00 hrs respectively I think - I will phone to confirm this ...
