Multi-bike policies can be a tricky area mate - personally i didn't think
your quote sounded too bad.

Not all insurers do multi bike schemes either.

I've just recently insured my CBR1000F,best i could get was £258
fully comp with 3yrs no-claims - that was with H&R

Excellent news Chris, glad to hear it's coming together! I'd like to see pictures when it's done! 8) I was going to rebuild my other one - but after finding out one of the big-end bearings had let go as will as a piston,it was going to cost in the region of £500 just to sort the motor........... :cry...

Hmmmmm,sounds like fuel starvation.

the carb would be a good place to start - check the jets aren't blocked
and clean it if needs be.

Got a 1995 CBR1000F m8 - we are thinking about de-linking the brakes, not because we don't like the system.....but because it's playing up a bit.... We've bled the brakes in order as the Haynes manual states, and had the front callipers apart for a good clean, but they are still binding. Can't figure it...

I went last year and wasn't too impressed for £10 entry...granted some of the clothing and lids were cheap, but saving up for the NEC instead, far more worthwhile.......

I'm not looking forward to MOT time as we're having
front brake binding problems on the CBR,stripped 'em all down and been through em,and can't find anything obvious wrong with them.....mind,it ain't that straight forward with it's linked brakes!
