Re: brick layer

And Victor Borge wasn't Dutch he was Danish.
Ah well it takes a man to admit he is wrong. Women don't have to as they are always right, that is according to my wife which it must be true as she said so.

Re: brick layer

Oh dear I was wrong I have just researched and you are correct Victor Borge is another person but not only that but the story wasn't written by him either. From wiki :The derivation of the story is confused, but it first arises in the 1930s. It was published in Reader's Digest in 1940 as a letter fr...

Re: Bike Jacking

Looks a bit like poor acting to me the thief would have waited until he had filled up with fuel before stealing it. Seemed very convenient it then stops 100yds up the road presumably out of fuel but if it did I don't think the thief put it on the prop stand I'm sure he would throw it down in disgust.

Re: brick layer

This was originally written and performed at the Oxford uni by Gerard Hoffman a Dutchman who used the stage name Victor Borge. Brilliant comedian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZUJLO6lMhI" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fal...

Re: Bits Needed

I have some indicators I know came off an early Honda which you can have but not sure which model bike they are from. They are huge in comparison to today's bikes. Can photo them and email if you would like. I don't want anything for them, cost of postage or I would prefer you pop in and collect whe...

Re: Anyone local ot change tyres?

Not very local , Taunton, to you but you are welcome to use my bead breaker, rim savers, levers and air compressor. I have also available pair of Dunlop D211 endurance triple compound tyres ex-track day front 3 days and the rear 1 day. No chicken strips but the bit you use on the road virtually new....

Re: Bedford Track Day Saturday 15th April

Apparently it is true you have to unload and park vehicle half a mile away as there is insufficient room in the pits. I will probably book this one so if anyone else is interested I will have room for a bike and kit leaving Taunton area on friday and hotel Fri night coming back after the trackday. W...

Re: Any point in knee sliders?

I agree that riding on track they are invaluable. Providing you have good tyres and a suitable bike feeling your knee on the tarmac gives you a clue as to your lean angle. Riding on track allows you to explore the capabilities of your bike in a relatively safe environment which can be invaluable whe...

Re: To much oil

I think you should read the Suzuki manual.
Most manufacturers recommend checking when hot probably as many owners do not have level parking whereas filling station forecourts are level but of course you have run the engine to get there.
