This is a very personal decision as other peeps have said. I didn't restrict mine in the first 2 years and I knew the risks.

Re: You won??t believe this

we delivered the estimate and she was fine with it. It was when her husband said "the last bike you hit cost us enough " (or words to that effect) we smiled knowingly!
Doh!

Going to get things in motion tomorrow and hope everything goes through quickly...fingers crossed.

a clutch leaver from a dealer will cost you £17.22 (plus £32.26 if you've buggered the gear shift assembly).

We??ve received the estimate to repair the damage she did.

It comes to the princely sum of £1107.

A very costly mistake.

Re: You won??t believe this

I'm getting a little concerned about how this is going to work out - the average car driver doesn't know how much our machines can cost when you have to replace stuff, I've heard of cases where people is disputed the estimates assuming the biker has taken the pee. We've given her the option of not g...

I sudden hear my alarm going off, I started to go down stairs and it stops so I??m imagining kids playing too close, etc. Then it goes off again. I get down stairs in...

Re: Dropped your bike?

I dropped my last bike (hornet) outside my house after slipping on a drain cover - doh! luckily there was minimal damage.

The real damage happened when I dropped it at South end sea on a ride out, after miss judging a kerb! Doh

I think I've learned my lessons now.

definately J&S as mentioned their own range are really good. I found their David Pro leather jeans great for girls who have hips! ;) I've also got some Frank Thomas Sofia Cordura but I'm not getting on too well with those at the moment - prefer leathers! If you have money to burn you can go thro...

Re: PLAY.COM

Play is good but don??t forgot Amazon as sometimes they are cheaper for games (as well as dvd??s, etc) plus the free postage kicks in at £19.

Unfortunately play isn??t as cheap as it used to be but still one of the best.

My first bike ride must have been at the age of 12, maybe a bit younger on a friends?? dads Harley Davidson. I wasn??t particularly impressed by 2 wheels and didn??t think much more about it. Then when I was 19, I decided I wanted my licence, so I took lessons and got one. Not really sure what my mo...
