Re: Bike advice
The busa is a brilliant bike on those roads. Had 3 when I lived there and used it alongside my sportsbikes. Can honestly say it is the best real world bike I have owned and I do between 5-8k miles per year in the UK and Europe.

Re: Maybe Going Track Only
I finally stopped riding sports bikes on the road last year for exactly the same reason. Riding harder to get less of a buzz. Converted my gixxer thou k6 to track only and really enjoy that pure adrenaline rush. I stopped riding 600's years ago for the same reason as I was always chasing the 10k rpm...

Re: Euro Track Day 2020 ....
I do 1 or 2 euro track sessions a year and your budget is slightly high but in the ball park. The costs on top of the basic package come from tyres £200 -400, repatriation insurance £50, getting and picking up the bike from the distribution centre £70, flights £120 ish, car hire £100 with fuel and ...

Re: Arcing spark
The arc is caused by a release of energy to earth. It could be caused by a breakdown of the insulation or contamination as mentioned above. Thoroughly clean the plug and cap and look for obvious failure points. If you cant find anything and the clean doesnt cure it the replacement of cap and plug is...

Re: Winter projects
Totally cocked up my biking calendar this year with work, moving house and lots of other carp so doing it back to front.
Done Cartagena last week, booked again for December then Almeria in March. Seems a bit messed up but extends the biking year

Re: Why is Stoner not on the grid???
I met Neil Hodgson a few years ago and he said he preferred his riding now to what he did when he was racing and even winning. No matter what the haters say, Stoner was and is a great rider and deserves the same respect as any other who risk their lives on the track. I feel sorry for those who canno...

Re: Bridge
They let me down massively 4 years ago. See my thread. In that time I have bought a blade, an R1, 2x gixxer thous, priller RSV, 2 sets of leathers, 3 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of gloves, 3 lids and a set of textiles. Not one penny have I spent with those tw@'s!
