Re: Anyone up for some mountain biking?

I'm more a roadie but also have a couple of mountain bikes, mainly ride the trails on the Mendips, Quantocks and Ashton Court / Leigh Woods, Bristol. With a few mates we do the occasional trip to Afan and Cwmcarn when we can get organised. Now have a caravan based near Beer so have been riding the l...

Re: Advice please - lightweight tourer?

Can vouch for the VFR750 as a excellent touring bike, our 1990 model has taken us everywhere, mostly two up. Excellent performance when required yet can pootle along with ease. BBC NI is available on Freesat channel 957.

Re: June 21st - Ride Out - Friendly Ride

Cheddar Gorge is busy on Sundays but is still fun once you get up past the cave carparks. A39 up out of Wells is a blast, then turn left onto the B3134 then across the top of the Mendips. B3141 Woolavington to East Huntspill is flowing. A372 from Langport towards Bridgwater includes the famous Seven...

Re: Dysons frikkin dysons

We had one of the original Dyson's and it was great. However, following the disgraceful way he moved production to the far east back in 2002 with 800 workers losing their jobs, My wife and I swore that we would never purchase a Dyson product ever again. We never have !

Ring of Fire by Rick Broadbent is a good read. Well funny in places, Hopper, Rossi and a few others rolling Max Biaggi's Smart car over just to pi** him off !

Ride Guide to Spain

Following on from the excellent magazine supplement Guide to France, the latest copy of Ride magazine comes with a Guide to Spain. You can also download the various routes from the magazine website.

I rarely buy a magazine these days but these guides are well worth the £ 4.10
