Re: Phase One Endurance GSXR replica

Alas just a stock (ish) bike these are destined for. It will just be a look alike with a few teaks to the bike. Taking it slowly, very, as the kit isn't being delivered until Christmas. The fairing was a nice simple White/Red and then started to add the decals. https://image.ibb.co/bZkuAw/IMG_2706.j...

Re: Phase One Endurance GSXR replica

didn't know about the second gear, no! May know someone who has one.... Its not out of a skip at Suzuka but a copy with the light recess. At a guess done by the place that did all of the kits for Crescent. The work involved in the actual bike is unreal! You didn't have the job of milling the back of...

Phase One Endurance GSXR replica

Got a nice little project on the go at the moment for a customer, only issue is I'm not too sure if I'll want to hand it over when finished!! I've long been a fan of the Phase One GSXR, may have noticed I've a soft spot for the old SRAD's?? I'll not go into what the original bike has on/in it as its...

GSXR SRAD bodywork

Unfortunately due to rider injury this bike won't be out on the grid this year (drunken injury, not riding  ) Was with me last year for a set of wheels, then came to stay for quite a while when the owner was on deployment. All of the body work is coloured gel coat with a high shine polish. Tan...

Manual Cam Chain Tensioner

Alright, so many bikes are known to have issues with the stock cam chain tensioners, one way to know is if someone has gone to the trouble of making a replacement. http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae170/diesel667/IMG_2200_zpscuie7jwk.jpg 2011 Blade manual cam chain tensioner http://i968.photobucke...

Re: CBR 600FM suspension

Little late to the party, but the YSS are a good shock for the money but for serious track use not the best. There is a decent aftermarket shock in what looks like very good condition on eBay at the moment, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR600-F-CBR-600-F-EMC-Racing-Shock-F2-1991-1994-/22243316092...

Re: CBC Motorcycles

Hmm, been a little while! Look forward to making sure the 10 will make it a full day next time it goes out to play ;) Slight change of address for me, now I'm working from 2 small workshops in Plymouth. 1 for all of the fibreglass work and another for the mechanical. Still able to tune etc but with ...

Thundersport GB 2016 - Richie Harrison - Meltedsliders

Some may know, others may not, that I've been involved with the guys at Meltedsliders and their racing efforts with Thundersport GB for a few years now. We currently compete in the Golden Era Superbike class, have previously competed in GP1 Superstock's and Golden Era supersport too. 2014 saw 2 of t...

Re: GSXR SRAD lightweight wheel conversion

A little work yes. Front needs discs spacing so relatively straight forward, just time consuming to make the plates correctly.

Rear needs different bearings, inner spacer tube , spacers and the bolts for the sprocket carrier need to be machined to clear.

GSXR SRAD lightweight wheel conversion

Few shots of the wheels I fitted of Mick Riddle's Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD he races in the Golden Era Superbike class with Thundersport GB. They are a set of Gen 1 RVS Mille wheels modified to fit the stock SRAD forks and swingarm. Carbon finish may not be to everyones taste, but while at the tyre truck...

Re: KTM Superduke ECU Flash

Absalute pain in the ass, yes!! They are even worse when warm as they expand even more! Simon's did nearly get the dremel treatment :)): The front block off plate was also fun, made all the more pleasurable by having run the bike up too see what it was stock. would have been nice if it was the winte...
