Not much one can say really ....... no reason why you shouldn't carry on & take your test ... in a way you're lucky to get the points before your test, 'cos if I understand the system correctly now if you got the points after your test you'd br facing losing your licence and doing a re-test as ...

not meaning to thread jack but i have a nice full stytem sat here for a gpz 500s its delvic stainless cans and stainless down pipes , also have a good motor that's done 30,000 and full loom carbs etc that I was gone check on eBay if a intrestd give us a shout and im sure we could come to a deal !

I would also agree valves must be out , its just text book how you let the bike cool and its fine again , could though in all fairness be the plugs knackerd and need changing maybe ?
