The return cable is there to allow you to close the throttle by rotating the grip towards the bars, it is there as an extra function only. If all is well and the springs are correct then the butterflies/slides should return to idle if the cable breaks/or is released.

I've seen a few CBTrs get their knees down -mostly followed by elbow head etc though. :P

I've heard rumors of this being a recall on K6 GSXR 600/750. Apparently they increasd the size of the oil drain in the head and it is causing stress fractures - new heads for all, at least you might get a prettier one this time!

Front or Back ??? I wouldn't go two teeth smaller oin the front - they are apporaching the limit as they are. If it's for your gsxr a standard SV650S (Curvy) is one tooth less try Sv Ash - he's probabbly got one.

Why would the ecu lose the map, its an EPROM after all. I got my GSXR 600K4 set up to match the pipe and filter and gained 6bhp at the top, could have got more - but didn't like the mid-range as much. Cost me £130 all in at GTs. 10 dyno ruins and three hours work I'm happy, not often you'll hear me ...

Did trhe same when I had my Sv, just make sure you use the same type of oil, ie mineral or synthetic. I ound 12.5w to be the best compromise for the road.

Dyno Time

I'll be wanting to get me fuelling set up after the iminent service on my GSXR600
K4, anybody got any reccomends for filter and tuning house for the dyno time (I'm not looking at a power commander just a re-map).
One other thing is the TRE worth doing??
