You may have totally unbalanced the carbs now. Apart from that it seems you are on the right path to be honest. If it runs with easi-start then timing and spark should be okay. I'd balance the carbs then go from there. When balancing a bank of 4 carbs you really do need a steady needle on the gauge....

I've tried loads of times at home and usually i end up taking the wheel to the local garage. Breaking the bead is really difficult on an old tyre. If you fo manage it, balancing is a POP

I love my blacked visor, it looks the business but Moosey is right, its very easy to get caught out with it. As soon as the sun starts to go down I am either blind or have a face full of diesel shite and dust. I always take my clear visor with me now. Tinted is best of both worlds I guess. So would ...
