Wow. That's a pretty intense story... I don't know why lightning hit him. Lucky Bugger for sure. He should try hitting a casino or the lotto. Just some burns on his ears? Granted I figured... he has to have some type of protective jacket on too? I'm not too sure on how diffusing the lightening strik...

There shouldn't be any issue with the bike. These bikes can run up to 100k no problem. Now for your friend to just get used to the new beast. I have a coworker with almost 100k on his bike...

Well it looks like it's definitely exposed to the water and elements. I'm assuming that the fan will continue to work after a little splash of rain but don't plan on leaving it exposed in the elements and last long..

Thats the way it is. Cagers are so used to driving around with Tunnel Vision. They don't really pay attention to anything other than whats in frojnt of them or the lane they're going to change into.

My friend actually has a 100k mile Hayabusa. he loves it and says he's going to ride it til the wheels fall off. Really reliable bike for how hard he rides it too..
