Re: Carbon Fibre wheels

If your running wide your taking too early an apex rather than anything else.

I think you can spend the money on carbon wheels but if your in the wrong place won't make much difference.

Re: Carbon Fibre wheels

I had a set of dymag magnesium wheels on a zx10r and could feel it wanted to change direction nice and easy. On a gen1 zx10 though, would look at fitting some aprillia wheels which most people use as a nice light weight Alternative to aftermarket wheels. I know Scooby on here was doing a few sets an...

Ok lol.. well I was chasing the 2min lap around Cartagena, when I decided I didn’t want my bike anymore.. but got a 2min 1.
2mins isn't a bad time at all.
What was that on your mv?

Managed a 1m54 when was over there but ran out of suspension

Re: Fantastic mechanical work!!!!!!

One a topical note, "It may be benifical to not start/stop your videos from where possibly the bike may be kept" Sometimes videos may attract the wrong attention. Especially with so many viable number plates about and the path you took would make it easy for people to figure out exactly where you co...

Re: Fantastic mechanical work!!!!!!

Makes a change for a gixxer to be in pieces and not a hedge in sight!

Good to know that your bike is well maintained.

Re: Naked twins, triples or inline 4s...

No suspension adjustment as it's electronic and reactive Depends on age as I think the early ones or base spec do still have manual adjustment suspension. The ones with electric suspension are good but I know a few "progressive" riders which prefer the linear moment of standard suspension. Would be...

Re: Naked twins, triples or inline 4s...

Cracking bikes and a good choice.
I know rik had one and chr1s and I have spoke about them previously.

One has a zuperduke and the other a mt-10,
Take that as you will.

Would definitely advise taking a speed triple out.

Re: Valve clearance check cbr600f..2012

Routine maintenance is about trying to prevent brake downs. If you feel it would be beneficial then do it (especially if you will do 4k miles this year as could be down time off the road)

As a road bike shouldn't be out but never know how it HAS been ridden.

Re: Castle Combe

Scotty That was a good review. Based on this I have to say that I would not be booking up any time soon. Having gone to Pembrey where they sometimes run a sighting lap per session this is a real faff and stops you from getting on with it. if you are also only on 10 minute sessions you are only just...
