Re: Ducati beach party, Sunday marazion

Ducati branded water bottle, key ring, neck strap thing, and a flyer for a test ride day in August.

Sadly no £10,000 discount voucher.....

Re: Ducati beach party, Sunday marazion

Was good fun - nice ride down from Falmouth, the GT guys were there barbecuing burgers. After a filling freebie cheeseburger, chose to ride a Scrambler 800. Accompanied ride down to almost Lands End, allowing us a good selection of twisties and fast bits. Bike was surprisingly light, comfy upright p...

Re: Should I sell my bike....

Thanks, in that case I might have a phone around some local dealers and see what they say, and get an idea what it's worth on ebay etc.

I'll probably leave getting the new one till next spring, but I'm thinking of something like a Triumph Explorer.

Should I sell my bike....

I've got a FZ6 with lots of mods - about £3K's worth - from the previous owner. It's a super bike, but my ageing frame is aching for something more comfortable. Thing is, I brought it back from Greece with me, so it's currently on Greek plates. So my options are: Get it UK registered, and sell it no...

Re: Best place for tyres in Falmouth?

Spent a couple of hours over at Pool with the infamous Carmelo. He's a star! New rear tyre, chain properly tensioned (was a bit flappy), cleaned and oiled, back wheel thoroughly cleaned and rebalanced, front tyre, disc pads and brake fluid all checked, all for £150. Marvellous. Thanks for the tip :)

Best place for tyres in Falmouth?

A little specific I know, but the rear tyre on my Fazer is looking a bit flaky, and I don't want to get sold some super duper racing tyre I don't need!

Thanks :)

Re: Owdoo

Wow, thanks for the welcome :) I'm based in Falmouth. Had a ride out yesterday, through Gweek and Constantine, down narrow tracks, then down to The Lizard for a nice crab butty, then back home on the main road via Helston. First time in a while I'd had anything approaching a good ride, and my soft a...

Ello! Found this forum whilst Googling for "Best cornwall motorbike rides". Just moved here after spending 11 years in Corfu, bringing my greek fazer with me. Getting used to riding in the UK again, and rapidly remembering just how dim-witted car drivers are when it comes to bike riders. L...
