Re: S.W.B rideout to The Skylark

I'll then be taking a bimble through the Blackdowns - no farm tracks this time I promise - and am aiming to...

I can feel a COF ride out coming on soon. . . . . . .. Oh sorry, I forgot; we've got one on the 23rd September! The youngsters would nev...

Re: To sat nav or not to sat nav....that is the question..poll

I use a fourth option: a car sat-nav bought for a quarter the price in a waterproof case and detailed large-scale OS touring maps for off-bike route planning and hand written reprogramming notes in the map window of the tank bag for use when required. The sat-nav is a quarter the price of a dedicate...

Quirky pub and a properly interesting selection of bikes. I'll go again for sure. Hope you got home in the dry. I did but only just. Don't th...

Re: Robbo's Blackdown Bimble - Sat' 11th August.

As I've got to work late all next week and being away for the following weekend I think I'll come along tomorrow if that's OK. Do you have a route that can be downloaded or is it all in your head? Phil doesn't need nav tech. The Fut is self-guiding. Through years of hard practice it knows the Devon...

Re: New addition to the garage

That's the ticket. The KTMs are taking over, as is right and proper. Looks like you've got Conti Road Attack 2s on it. On the front anyway. Great tyres in the dry, not so good in the wet. The RA3s are a major step forward and fab in all conditions. On my second set on my 1190. Far and away the best ...

Re: New to this forum

Welcome aboard Ming. Keep your eyes peeled for runs. There's a friendly coming up next week I think, or thereabouts. Relaxed pace but a good social. Might re-do my Dorset run in September with a few tweaks for those who missed it the first time. Simon, how any points do I get for recruiting new memb...
