Re: Mind Melt! A proper Yamaha
They used a real cr@ppy Chinese fairing to match the Suzuki build quality :)[/quote] Meeooooow, would sir like a saucer of milk with that statement? Suzuki build quality has come a long way lately, they last at least a winter now  Speaking of build quality, we have a rather spectacular Yamaha...

Re: DYNO DAY
If you want more grunt from the Z750 motor, start by using ZX9R camshafts and the flywheel which is almost a kilo lighter than the Z750 one, Electrex supply a new stator which bolts to the Z750 cover and works with the larger ID of the ZX9R rotor. But the best way to get more power is to drop the Z1...

Re: DYNO DAY
The latecomer Balki on the MT07 who arrived about 20 minutes after everyone had departed, produced 69bhp which I was rather impressed with. Yamaha may have built a motor that will possibly unseat Kawasaki as the top dog for the Lightweight TT. I reckon there's a lot of potential in the MT07 motor, a...

Re: DYNO DAY
There was a very good turn out and it was good for this newbie to the forum to meet and chat with some faces. I got there at 10 past 10 and was 14th in the queue. Unfortunately time ran out when I had to leave to be home at one so we just missed putting the Busa up  I'll go back to Tivvy soon...

Re: DYNO DAY
Yes I almost took out the second tube light as well I hit it with my head and it went out but then came back on again thankfully. I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves today, I certainly did, it was good to put faces to names as well, I know some people from before when the dyno was mobile, but it wa...

Re: DYNO DAY
A huge thanks to everyone that attended todays dyno session, we had a great day with a very eclectic mix of bikes and people :)): Apologies to those who were hoping for more power, but I dare say we can squeeze some more power out of them with a little tweaking. I hope those going on to the meal at ...

Re: DYNO DAY
The weather is looking good for tomorrow, so we are really looking forwards to seeing what the bikes are producing. Morrisons do a really good breakfast for the hungry amongst you all.

Re: DYNO DAY
Running order will pretty much be as people arrive, rather than trying to follow a list, and potentially having to wait for people and holding things up. Kicking off at 0900hrs It should take no more than 15 to 20 minutes per bike to run them up and print out the results. I'm rather looking forwards...

Re: DYNO DAY
Yes Andy we are right behind Morrisons. If you are coming up the motorway leave at jcn 27 and then follow the A361 link road down the dual carriageway. Take the second Tiverton exit which is the roundabout, then 50 yds right at the next roundabout, t hen 200 yds past PETROC college right again at th...

Re: DYNO DAY
It looks like a fairly good mix of machines, which always makes for an interesting session. I'm looking forward to it, I just hope the weather stays good for the day.

Re: DYNO DAY
That shouldn't be a problem Banditman the order of running will be in the order people arrive rather than trying to hold a schedule which usually goes to cock when someone is late, or gets lost, or abducted by local yokel cannibals on the moors but not before being forced to breed with their serious...

Re: DYNO DAY
It has been suggested that the 18th may be a better date as there is a meal at Sampford that evening, so what people think 4th or 18th July?
