Re: Martin Jennings Run 2016

Hi, if you Google Martin Jennings Memorial Ride you can find out about it, I believe the charity this year is Blood Bikes. I did my first ride last year with a friend they went as far as Cornwall Services. The start is normally Truro but it seems the start venue is to be announced soon. Try and make...

Re: Hi from Truro

Hi Jogler, Portreath car park is also a popular place for bikers to hang out, especially weekends.

Cheers

Re: Cornwall services

Hi Jumbo, welcome from the Camborne/Redruth area, there should be some charity ride outs soon.
Perhaps you may like to come to bike night at Mc Donald's in Hayle Tues evenings sometime.
Badger's the man for this area, very nice guy.

Re: Nice quite ride around South West Cornwall

Hi, not many quiet roads here in SW Cornwall now, especially this time of year, I sometimes find that 7pm can be a fairly quiet time for a ride in the Camborne area and North coast roads. I recently returned to biking after many year and also used to hate cars behind me but think I have got over tha...

Re: weak mixture

Thanks for the rely, I have tried the carb/choke cleaner and that seems to have cured it. There appears to be no mixture screw on carbs or shown in manual, must be pre-set in manufacture. I have looked at the website for Tiverton motorcycle and if it plays up again I will contact them. Cheers Mandolin

weak mixture

I have just replaced the sparking plugs on my Yamaha Virago 535 and noticed they are very white, I seem to have to ride with the choke partly closed so I suppose the jets must be restricted. I have bought some carb and choke cleaner to spray in the intake but guess I will probably end up stripping t...
