Re: COBWEB RIDE - Sunday March 24th
Well I hope the weather is going to be good and it's still starting from Honiton as I've just booked a room at the Premier Inn. Myself and Mrs Cuckoo will be there. Mrs Cuckoo will be pillion on this occasion. She has recently passed her test (rides a Sv650) but she didn't fancy the 3hour ride from ...

Jumping out of gear - Yamaha FZ6
I had my trusted 2006 FZ6 for a few years now and i've almost always clutchless changed gear on the way up. Lately in 3rd or 4th it occasionally jumps out of gear (back to the previous gear) as soon as i've changed. My question is is it more likely to be the clutch that needs looking at or the gears...

Re: Help needed 'Stuttering' Daytona 675 **FIXED**
I've finally fixed the problem so I thought I'd post it just in case anyone stumbles across the post with the same problem. IT WAS THE O2 SENSOR When I first bought the bike it had a power commander fitted, at the time I didn't know too much about them so removed it. While trying loads of different ...

During which I put an angle grinder though my little finger.... time to recoop back on track. Anyway finished the swap, re set the tps......

Engine swap tips wanted (Daytona 675)
2009 Hi thanks for all the input on previous thread on my stuttering Daytona. During the ongoing investigation I found 'shavings' in the oil and it turns out the cam and cam holder is shot. I dont believe this is the root of the problem but it has to be fixed. After getting a quote for the job I dec...

*UPDATE* New plugs, cleaned air filter, new battery. Checked electrical connections. Checked hoses. Changed fuel and redexed new tank full. Still no change. So off to the main dealer. They ran diagnostic EMRF. It indicated possible injector fault or tight valve clearences. They found sim loose and a...

Re: Help needed 'Stuttering' Daytona 675
Plugs look normal but going to change them anyway as the bike is stripped. You probably have a map or maf sensor in the airbox, could be worth checking Yep Intake Air temperature sensor I'll clean all the connectors. Think a proper outlet on the tumble dryer might help. Stable doors and horses come ...
