Re: Any suspension specialists in Exeter area?

Gone for a Nitron Sport shock, adapted for my riding style which is usually touring with pillion.

Fair bit more than the £150 for an overhaul of my current shock but I have a Nitron shock on another bike and really like it

Small hole in otherwise good nick exhaust pipe

I want to sell my Honda Vfr 800fi but want to fix an advisory from last year's mot, which has now expired. The exhaust is blowing due to a very small hole in an otherwise immaculate stainless header pipe. The hole is due to a bit of bubbling where the two pipe clamp together, unfortunately it's on o...

Re: Any suspension specialists in Exeter area?

I tried Hel Performance but they couldn't help.

Have decided to get a better shock now.

Thanks all

Any suspension specialists in Exeter area?

Rather than send the shock off on my R1200gs to be refurbished and not be able to use the bike for a week or two, what would be amazing is if there was somewhere local where you can just ride in and ride out.

Does anywhere local exist?

Sorry I've not checked back on this thread for a while, but what can I say guys, all really helpful and genuine replies to my post!

How to become a confident & competent rider?

How did everyone here develop their skills and confidence to become a good rider?

It's much easier to make mistakes on 2 wheels and the consequences are expensive and potentially painful!

Need to stop riding like my gran!

Ferries from the southwest to France

I haven't had my full licence long but wouldn't mind going away for a weekend to France.

The most obvious port that springs to mind is Plymouth, but it's quite a long trip to Roscoff.

Where do you guys catch ferries from, and are there ever offers on or are the prices pretty standard?
