Re: taking an enforced break.
Well first ride on the bike today in 6 weeks, just did a short 20 odd miles. All a bit sore but trying to use the left grip is helping to bend the index finger. Most uncomfortable bit was trying to use the indicators as the skin is still very thin on my thumb. Must persevere so will try to get out ag...

Re: Hi all!
Hi Patryk, congratulations on passing your test I know when I passed mine it was such a relief. Now is the time to get some steady riding in as others have said. Build your confidence on the new bike and learn how it handles before you start to do anything. I would ride for about 6 months and then b...

Re: Hey from Cornwall
Hi Curtis welcome to the forum from another newbie. There is lots of info and good humoured banter on the forum from numerous two headed members down in the deep south. Looking forward to the RTTB in June and the friendly ride later in the year if my custom helmet still fits. It will be good to put ...

Create GPX routes in GPS Visualizer
Bored out of my brains stuck at home for a while I have been looking at creating GPX route files that can be uploaded to a GPS unit. There are a few tutorials on Youtube that show how to create the route in Google maps and then upload the URL into GPS Visualiser.com where it will create a GPX file t...

Re: taking an enforced break.
Only took the one as the nurse at West Cornwall was not having a good day and I was not the best of patients.Managed to get 2 cuts and 2 breaks on the index finger. The thumb pad has gone down to the bone and the next finger is just topped https://photos-cdn.tiger800.co.uk/30118411_10156193536754318...

taking an enforced break.
Looks like I will be out of action for 4 - 6 weeks. https://i.imgur.com/bJeQuHP.jpg Had a fight with my table saw last weekend and and ended up blooded with a couple of chewed fingers and thumb on my left hand. Off to Treliske tomorrow to get the bandages changed and see the consultant so I should k...

Re: BIKE SAFE
Its the best thing I have recently done. The theory part is informative but a little boring.Having a police rider behind you for an hour+ is "different". the feedback is constructive not critical and to be honest I would have done it again. Perhaps I crave for some advanced rider course bu...

Many thanks, I wondered if there was a "show replies to your posts" type function. I dont have to remember the threads I have contributed too then.

Re: Summer friendly ride - Sunday 19th August
yes I spotted the RTTB first and have already put my mark down for that one. I'm eager to get out with other riders as I've recently suffered a hand injury and need to get back on the bike asap and its easy to get in a rut solo riding, I'm hoping it will broaden my appreciation of the area. I've onl...
