Re: Post 'Biker Down' rideout Saturday 23rd September.
Arrived home in Chard at 1830 hrs so slightly more than 60 miles, but hey ho the route was enjoyable with the occasional group of grit from recent strong rains spoiling a few sections.
Thanks Phil for leading.

Re: New wheels
Nice looking bandit Damien, as they do most things pretty well for a situp roadster. It has a centrestand for that all important chain lube. Rock on, see you on the rides. I ride a bandit too.

Re: Sunday 20th August. Rideout to Bridge M/C's BSA open day.
After watching England become runners up, I decided to visit Bridge Motorcycles and see the new BSA and the returning bikers. Hardly anyone at Bridge at 1420 hrs so probably just missed you. The BSA looks tidy and as a fair proportion of owners will do their own maintenance, without a centre stand, I...

Re: Thurs 17th Aug - North Devon Loop to Seaton Bike Night
Thanks for a good run and for the tea and cake at "Jane's cafe".
Hope to see you all again on the next North Devon Loop, maybe a little earlier. We might be on time.
The bandit is now running seamlessly with it's £10 set of plugs.

Re: Magical Mystery Tour - Sunday 6th Aug
Simon,
I havn't even got to the Bandit yet, and I don't think new plugs will solve the misfiring so in the interest of fairness, please offer my place to other members.
I know you'll have a good run which I'll have to miss.

Re: New sprockets on a half worn chain?
Last year I detected a clicking noise from the chain under first gear load. It turned out to be a worn joining link; I understand they are a softer material to allow the link to be peened, and therefore prone to more wear. I've kept the old chain and might just measure it as per "jug" to s...

Re: I knew annual oil change recommendations were BS.
What realistically could you save by dragging services out etc besides the risk of damage and accelerated wear. Money, time, materials. I don't like waste. It also guts me to take out oil that still looks clear/clean just because it has been in the engine for 12 months. Capture.JPG Many years ago w...
