Especially on the electric "mountain bikes" that are just unregistered, uninsured and unrestricted motorcycles with token pedals. Boils my piss that a regular motorcycle costs over £100 to tax and MOT, £100's to insure and you get fined if you speed, whereas peeps on ebikes are as quick A ...

Same here, with Green Flag. Had to use them a couple of times for the van, twice on a bike and once in the car and I've never had to wait more than an hour for them to attend. Plus, when I told them I was on a bike they made sure they sent a suitable vehicle for recovery

I always take an extra moment before committing to which hose to choose, and haven't had the misfortune to have ever misfuelled, despite regularly swapping between petrol and diesel vehicles

Being inexperienced shouldn't put you off joining any ride outs. It's the only way you're going to improve, by following other, more experienced riders and if the pace is more than you're comfortable with, just mention it at one of the coffee/toilet/arthritis stops.
