Re: Petrol

I have a Shell fuel card due to the insane mileage I cover in the various modes of transport. Normally I get a rate even better than Trago Shell station - last week £1.31 for diesel. Got the update on Fri as usual for the forthcoming week.... £1.62 per litre. 31p jump in a day, way dearer than norma...

Re: rain?

Dorset has had it even worse than Devon I think.

Parts of the A35 near Bridport was like driving up a river, and a village near Dorchester was impassible as the road was submerged and bow waves from vehicles was flooding the neighboring houses

Re: Long Distance Touring on a Naked Bike?

I've done 3 or 4 Euro tours on a naked KTM 790 Duke and recently an MT07. Not brilliant fun at warp speeds on a motorway but mucho fun everywhere else. Luggage capacity is obviously compromised but if you pack light and get a decent bag for the back seat/rack you should be fine.

Yep, and it was a repeat

They must have been impressed with the viewing figures the first time. This could be the new Great Escape or The Magnificent Seven.....

Re: Roy Bulcock Memorial Rideout - NEW DATE Sunday 26th October

I'm aiming to be up for this if it doesn't involve 40 mile trips up and down the A380/M5 both ways - feeling the cold now even with heated gloves/grips/jacket. Time to migrate somewhere warmer for the winter methinks ❄️😢 Ah - it appears it does, so I'll stay local and keep my pinkies warm. But I'll...

Had a set of them on my Duke. No issues with grip and they warm up really quickly.
