Or emigrating. ;-)

As I understand it, they don't have a point system in the states, you just get hefty fines. Assuming they don't get trigger happy that is.

Re: The new guy!

Smiler...Yes indeed, many more replys :)): Kata... I've got a K9, was actually at Crescent on Sat looking at all the nice stuff! It's a nice ride to crescent from Taunton. Been there a few times to have a view of the bikes. Bought a SV 1000 from them a few years back. They gave the best deal around...

Re: Lack of self control

I did that too on the 600's. Thought I was doing well then an instructor comes past on CBF1000's brushing the tarmac with their hands.

Highly recommended.

Hello & welcome :)
Lucky chap! Why did you sell it? You could hire one out and earn a fortune these days I think.

Re: Afternoon

Hi John, welcome in to Swb, where are you based then ? See you Sunday hopefully. Sunny (not) Taunton. Lovely place with 2 closed night clubs, and all the pubs seem to be transforming into Tescos. Still the Chicken and Bacon sandwiches are good and we're supposed to be getting a Hawaiian Themed bar ...

Re: Lack of self control

I know this is an old thread, but changing your bike might make things slow down a bit. I used to go a fast rate of knots but then took a look at things and bought a CB 1300. I get just as much fun on that at legal-ish speeds as warp factor 8 on the GSXR. Or perhaps an unfaired KTM or triumph? JOhn

Afternoon

Hi All, Finally got around to sorting out a login to the site. Names John and I've got a CB1300 for leisurely rides, a GSXR1000K5 for the track and a pedal bike for when the sun is really shining and it's too hot for leathers. I've got a model Katana 100 but thats the closest I've got to owning one....
