Re: New sprockets on a half worn chain?
I'd swap out the while lot. The total cost isn't that much. The mismatch of Old chain and new sprockets will wear the whole setup faster anyway.(according to the MC press). As for roasting, I'm not quite sure why you haven't plugged for making a new chain using diamond crystals and graphite with you...

I'm sure the actual ride will be fine Brian. It's just for those of us further away, the forecast ride back isn't looking good.

Re: Taunton Kawasaki Centre??
I bought a ts125x. They were located near the crematorium roundabout in Taunton. The store was turned into a Hein Gerike store and then to a co-op store when JG ceased trading. They were mainly a Suzuki dealer, thought they sold Yamaha's at the time too. I think they had a shop further up the road t...

Re: fighting back if someone tries to steal your Bike - where you stand.
Do the police ever bother turning up if someone reports a nicked bike with a tracker? I read a few articles a while back where the police wouldn't go to the address.

Re: White lines
I think the bike groups should lobby for either reduction of white lines where they aren't really necessary or perhaps an exception for motorcycles.
I'm sure we've all come across places with white lines where it's easy and safe for a bike to pass but not a car.

Did you take the bits off you want and take photos. They normally come back missing stuff.
Like said above don't get a hire bike! You can get them to improve their offer too. Well I did.
The gen 2 FJR has abs. Gen 3 has traction control. That's as far as it went.

Contact Metzeler and ask them if you unsure. They are pretty good. Do it by email and show the guys boss when they say it's fine.

Re: White lines
personally i don't cross the solid white line, too many dash cams around these days. i'll filter down between traffic and the line but won't cross it, just not worth it. you guys with panniers - touugh boobies, you chose to put a caravan on your sports car so you have to sit in the queue with the o...
