Llandow Track Day - 2 Year Licence Requirement

Post by venari »

Hey Quick Question for the Regulars...

The Llandow website says that you must have held a full bike licence for two years in order to go on a track day.

I have been holding off booking myself on to a track day for the last year and a half assuming I wouldn't be allowed but today a friend mentioned in passing he'd done a track day there and I know he did his licence around the same time as me!

So, what's the deal here? Can I or can't I?

I'll obviously check when I book but I just want to see what you guys make of it.

Also: anyone know of this type of restriction at other local tracks?

Cheers,
V

i think it all depends on he day with Llandow.

I know for a fact that we have a new A2 license holder with us this year in novice, he has to provide restriction certs, but he is allowed to do our trackday.

We have hired the track privately so it's run slightly different i think. I've not heard this 2 year rule before.

Best thing to do is phone the trackday organiser companies - No Limits, Focused etc for their days.

For ours, you can come along, no worries.
