A custom adjustable Clutch lever

Post by Kata »

Hi All.

Nikki's 125 has quite a wide non-adjustable clutch lever linking to her cable clutch.

I don't think the usual eBay stuff would fit because of the levers width.

Is there someone that could make an adjustable one or maybe one shaped better for her?

Cheers

You could do it yourself (but it's best to have a spare just in case you break it) by annealing (for aluminium that's just air cooling), then cold work to nearer the preferred shape, then leave it alone for a week to age harden a bit before use.

Try lextek, they do quite a range of stubby levers. I got ones for my duke from there even though the brake was brembo.

Mike - I just know what would happen to Chinese metal if I tried that. Just ask Billinom8s about my gsxr brake pedal...

B - went on their website, they don't list one specifically for the k light but I'll call Monday.

Failing that is there someone that could CNC one / mod one at a reasonable price?

Cheers

Can you drill and tap a thread into the perch and put a small bolt in there to stop the lever from returning fully?
