Morning all, looking at getting a batter charger that
Will maintain my battery, especially over winter.
Any recommendations?
Cheers Marcus

Re: Battery charger
I've heard good things about the oximiser, if you aren't going to be riding then take the battery out.

Re: Battery charger
I leave all my batteries in and have quick leads attached so I can rotate my single charger around all of the bikes quickly, no need to unbolt panels etc.
I don't like to leave my charger connected and/or on 24/7 so instead I give each bike a few hours each or overnight, until the charger is happy.
I use an Optimate and the light goes green when it's happy with the battery so you may as well stop then.
I tend to redo this every month or so, even when the bike is in regular use.

Re: Battery charger
Depends what type of battery you have fitted. If you have an AGM or Lithium battery you need to check carefully what you buy - they generally don't like trickle chargers and certainly nothing with a de-sulphating phase.
You could always install an isolator on the earth strap if leaving for long periods.

I run some gadget from the AA I’ve used it on stored cars and bikes, smart little thing, does all that conditions stuff.
Used the same one for ten years now, does what it says on the tin.
