Carb cleaning

Post by Sparkymarky »

Hi all, I’m after a recommendation of who to use.
After several years of being sat up my bike is in need of the carbs stripping down cleaning and rebuilding. Will also need to get them all balanced. I have decided to bring it back to life & start riding again or maybe sell on.
The carbs are 38mm bst bandit carburettors. I will get new gaskets etc, and new replacement jets if someone can tell me what 1s are in there/needed.

Thanks in advance

If you're close to Newton Abbot I'd suggest Matt at Motorcycle Co, he's a whizz with carbs.

Thanks guys,

I might have to wait a while, as I’ve just had a very big bill for my car, running into several thousand pounds so I’m not in a position to pay workshop prices at the moment. But soon as funds allow will contact Matt at the motorcycle co. 👍
