Problem with alarm

Post by A_T »

I have a Meta 357T alarm fitted and have been hearing intermittant crackling noises coming from it when turning it on or off.. anyone have any ideas as to what this could be?

cheers in advance.. :)

listened to A_T's bike alarm & sounds like someone is frying a sausage under the seat(sizzling noise)
is there a relay around that area?

A "sizzling" noise would suggest an intermittant electrical short causing arcing between supply and ground. A relay would give a more defined ticking noise.

Can't help any further as I have no experience of alarms.
