Speedo Healer
Hi All
Thought I would post up about this one as have been very impressed.
A year or 2 back I bought my myself my GSXR 1000 K7 very impressed as it came with lots of goodies already fitted however it didn't take to long for me to realise one of the reasons it was so fast was the chain and sprocket gearing had been mucked about with causing the speedo to be incorrect.
I now know that the speedo is actually 14% incorrect so when it was showing I was doing 80 it was actually 69mph. The worse bit about this was that it also effects your mileage so makes your bike record a higher mileage then it actually has done (in my case by 14%)
Working out how far it is out is very easy. Get a GPS app on your phone (such as Diablo SBK) go for a ride at a set speed then go home and see from the GPS what speed you were actually doing.
Basically this is a small black box with a basic wiring loom. You unplug a connection, plug in the speedo healer then find the appropriate place to position it (I.e. Under the back seat) program in the % and away you go.
It also has the functionally to record your top speed (if you want to know when your on track or doing high speed runs), it can swap MPH to KMH and has 2 banks so you can swap it between 2 bikes or for different sprockets.
If your interested check out the web site for the UK main dealer or give them a call

Re: Speedo Healer
I've messed about with my sprockets, but it doesn't matter. Speedo reads off rotation of front wheel.

I've got an older version of this - https://www.yellr.com/yb_home.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Been on the TL for around 15yrs now, since I dropped the gearing from around 170 to 150mph @ the redline.

Have a starlane full dashboard replacement on the 08 zx10 which is practically infallible so speed on that is exact which is handy for the tracks which is why i know that my 44.5 second laps at llandow are real
However my road bike is only allowed to do 70mph legally so not really bothered about the accuracy of the speedo!

Plus one for the speedohealer
Have on Busa and B-King, stock Suzuki speedos run 8.5% fast and B-King gearing is seriously non-stock
Dunno about the Fazer speedo error though, can't get it above 160 anyways.......

Re: Speedo Healer
Yes I added a tooth to rear sprocket (ZX-10r), not gona make a whole load of difference just tiny bit more pull. 1st gear went from something like 90mph down to 84mph.
some people go tooth less in front which is similar to adding 2.5 teeth to rear.
And speedohealer so clocking exact a should be a speedo is accurate.

Re: Speedo Healer
My first bike in my new life (after c. 35 yrs) was a CB500. Eagerly-beaverly I rode it to the bottom of my road, climbed off, sat on the pavement and wondered wtf I'd done.
Some days thereafter, when ass and head had returned, I was always feeling for '7th' on the m-ways. Simple +1 on the front made a nice difference.
This o' girl was a pig in traffic so I put a +2 on the back which, again, made a most welcome improvement.
