I'm just deciding whether to replace the hoses on my bike with silicone ones... Seems OEM hoses (some kind of rubber) might actually seal better, the silicone hoses are apparently difficult to make seal and are more likely to need adjustment after a few heat cycles.
Access to these hoses is a problem on my SD so I'd prefer them to seal 1st time.

They are totally worth the exspence, I've had samco hoses on for about 3 years no real issues as the match OEM hoses. Fitting them lowered my overall running temp by about 5-8 degrees. If your worried about leaks I would advise buying the hose clamp kit as the are much better than standard.
