I'll wire the LED's to limit their brightness, either in the pair series or I'll put a resistor inline (whichever works) as that should extend their life a bit.

Hi, new here,based in Tiverton,

Reading this thread I can t get my R&G LED light working,no power from the loom connector, polarity checked and voltage tested, so i suspect a broken wire in the loom, bikes 2006 ,thinking of putting a battery on off LED white strip of three lights on it for MOT day as reading this thread it now seems a legal requirement.Which is a right pain. This is definitely law now?

Thanks Shaun

This subject came up during a chat with my tame MOT man recently. A white number plate light is deffo an MOT requirement.

Just take a feed wire from the tail light, and earth to metal subframe or similar.

This was when the rear light is on it's a parallel circuit and will work.
What bike is it?
