Any suspension specialists in Exeter area?

Post by Primalcarl »

Rather than send the shock off on my R1200gs to be refurbished and not be able to use the bike for a week or two, what would be amazing is if there was somewhere local where you can just ride in and ride out.

Does anywhere local exist?

Make a phone call to Hel Performance based just outside of Exeter @ Tedburn St Mary.

The guys called Steve.
Electronic's keeps the boys upright, the men keep it on the knee slider :)

I tried Hel Performance but they couldn't help.

Have decided to get a better shock now.

Thanks all

What shock are you going for?
..and how much?

Could be exactly the same work/effort but loads cheaper just to have yours refurb'ed.

Gone for a Nitron Sport shock, adapted for my riding style which is usually touring with pillion.

Fair bit more than the £150 for an overhaul of my current shock but I have a Nitron shock on another bike and really like it

Don’t forget if you don’t have the great new equipment set up properly then it still will not work properly for you.

Simon (Billinom8s) does a really great base set up that will work will for the road and can consider the rider / riders. Also he is not that expensive either for all SWB peoples.... worth a phone call :-bd
