Repair on Street Triple Rev Counter

Post by Tvrv37 »

Ok well the street triple lives once more after Wendy’s detour into the Dorset countryside. However the Rev counter needle has dropped past zero and now has a resting place about an inch to the right about 4000 revs out. I believe this is a stepper problem and has to be either repaired or replaced. Can anyone do this or recommend a localish rebuild service?

Cant you just move the needle back to where it should be on its zero mark? Will that align it all the way round.

I have read it's not quite that simple, but have no real experience of electronic clocks
