Honfa rectifiers

Post by Brummie Biker »

Hi all Brumie bloke here dawlish...
I have a 99 blackbird and as with all older hondas the rectifier is a weak point,
Anyone got any good ideas? upgrades?....people say its the heat is there any reason NOT to mount it in a better place with more airflow?

Also any recomendations on MOT stations near Dawlish?
I have seen the garage on the bend as you leave Dawlish on the way to the warren....has anyone got any reviews or experience with this garage?
cheers Wayne.G

Electrex do uprated rectifiers. CMS in Exeter used to be able to supply them too.

For MOT's try Lee at Dawlish MOT centre on the Shutterton estate.
