Breakdown Recovery
Looking at getting breakdown recovery, AA got National for £99 if it's non-fault.
I'd like to get national recovery that will get me home even if I send it down the road due to diesel or anything else slippery.

Re: Breakdown Recovery
I have looked at this a while ago and the breakdown services will not cover you any more if you have an accident unless you pay at the time. So forget AA, RAC or Green Flag.
Robbo on here works for this lot and I believe that they have all the gear for Motorbike recoveries. I am looking to get in touch to try and get SWB discount for subscribers if I can

Autoaid. About £48 last time I looked. Recovery after breakdown or accident. They Use SOS motorcycle recovery. Generally nothing to pay when you’re recovered now as they deal direct

Yeah but Krystal is better then most when it comes to bike stuff. If I range the wife she would say do us all a favour and just leave it in the ditch and make we walk home for the inconvenicance of calling her

Re: Breakdown Recovery
We've (wife & me) got rac recovery, i believe only covers breakdown, but it is us that are covered so even if passenger can get them out for any vehicle (car or bike). But following a get off i used the recovery provided by insurance company, ie it's accident insurance so their cover will get your bike (to home or shop) after an accident.

Got a deal - £48 for 16 months, that covers both mine & the Mrs cars plus all our bikes are also.
I have used them twice over the years, once for my van and once for when my trail bike snapped it's chain.
1190 Adventure S, 990 Superduke, DRZ-400E - all the bases covered.

RAC personal nationwide breakdown/recovery for whatever vehicle I'm in, whoever owns it. Paid for with Tesco clubcard points, it's effectively free.
Insurance covers recovery in the event of an accident.

Re: Breakdown Recovery
Only the once Rob. Mrs had to call them out as got stranded with a flat battery. All seemed ok, took them about an hour to attend but it was in the depths of winter so busy time for them. Have read good reviews about them so at that price will stick with them until I have reason not too.menzies3032 wrote: ↑Jan 3rd, '19, 11:01Wow like the looks of this.... our green flag has just run out so need to arrange something might go with this. QDOS only cover vehicles < 16 yrs old.
Also will NOT cover Harley or Buell.
