So what cover have you gone for Menzies?

Actually haven't done it yet. The wife is useless and has not renewed her greenflag cover (good luck to her if her car breaks down) and its not biking weather again yet..... However seriously considering the recommendation for start rescue.co.uk as looks good and is a lot cheaper then the usual green flag, RAC or AA

StartRescue prices look good. How do you know how long recovery takes though, if stuck in mid Devon for example.

A word to the wise . . . . . check with your prospective bike recovery supplier that they have a dedicated motorcycle recovery unit. You won't want your pride and joy (or even your old wreck) to be strapped down on a flatback car recovery truck. Thereby lies disaster - trust me.

Auto aid use motorcycle sos, who also have their own motorcycle recovery service. Had to make a claim for an exhaust on Sams R6 when it slipped over on an wet oily flatbed recovery truck.

Well eventually got on with it and did go with start rescue and went for their 2 star service £43 for the year with national breakdown. Must say I like that they also include accident cover as well as breakdown cover as part of the deal

Regarding the flatbed comment above. Very true, when i binned my zx10 the insurance recovery was a flatbed. Fortunately that time it didn't matter cause the thing had somersaulted from about 70mph, it was very broken, and i mean very. But the guy still didn't want to damage it any more than it was, so made me drop it on the deck before he tied it down. He looked concerned, but it was already totalled so i wasn't worried.

good idea think I will go for start Rescue as well as looks good, plus bike is 15yrs old now.
