Came through Belgium a few years ago lead bike stopped the sat nav died not a clue where we were & no maps 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Two sat navs on the lead bike or several members of the party with sat navs and the route loaded..

Anyhooo.....I’m with you on the paper map thing. Satnags have their uses sure but I love planning out a route on a real map. Michelin maps have the green routes (scenic) I’ve got quite a pile of them for regions in France :)):

I too have a collection of Michelin maps. We used to spend hours with them planning our trips to France back in the day......

Run. Run to the hills whilst life is still worth living. I pity you when next spotted by Sheila =)) =))

I've always preferred the IGN maps for France (French OS equivalent) and have marked up copies going back to the late eighties ..... Interesting to look at now, with hardly any autoroutes west of Paris .....
