I have a blue Takashi helmet and I want to make it a diffrent colour coz I dont like it and I have seen other people wearing them. What spraypaint can I use to go on helmets that wont come off.

Takachi TK Blue Iridium, is that a legal visor?

since when does a visor have to be legal to be worn?


iridium visors to have a reputation for not lasting very long, as in the iridium coating comes off quickly

Oh, I got a visor in the end. The colour does smear, espessaily when you wipe flys off.

You delved deep into the archives to find this thread didn't you :)): 9 years for a visor? You actually been out with it on ? :80: I usually get through a couple of dark visors per year. Didn't rate the iridium visor I had and wouldn't buy another.

There's nothing wrong with it (or the lid). I'm tempted to get another helmet but £300.00 for a new one is a bit steep.

Yeah, if its not scratched and dented they why bin it ? All depends how well you look after your stuff really.

Think its more to do with the glues and things breaking down and becoming less effective over time . Sometimes its the things you can't see that causes the problems.
