Came through Belgium a few years ago lead bike stopped the sat nav died not a clue where we were & no maps 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Anyhooo.....I’m with you on the paper map thing. Satnags have their uses sure but I love planning out a route on a real map. Michelin maps have the green routes (scenic) I’ve got quite a pile of them for regions in France :)):

I too have a collection of Michelin maps. We used to spend hours with them planning our trips to France back in the day......
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't

I've always preferred the IGN maps for France (French OS equivalent) and have marked up copies going back to the late eighties ..... Interesting to look at now, with hardly any autoroutes west of Paris .....
