Hopefully some of you will join me on the route from Tiverton to to Shooey's meet at Woolacombe. My pace will be "not hanging about but not stupid":-

Leave Tiverton Morrisons petrol station 09.30

via Wheddon Cross car park 11.15 to 11.30, where others (Phil's Honiton crew) may well join the posse.

Arrive Woolacombe 12.45

We rode up in 1degree temp. By the time we reached Brian we we're all a Tad frozen.
Saying that, we had been riding an hour by the time you lot left.

Still, we all got out and all got home to thaw.

Invest in some heated gear, guys - it's the way forward!

I was proper toasty in jacket and gloves and they can be picked up secondhand. The roads were fine and no visible saltiness so a day freezing yer tits off was a day wasted.

How big is the fairing on your duke again?

It ain't a Duke - it's an Adventure, in as much as it's an adventure just seeing if it gets through a ride without another fault developing.

The screen does help keep the wind blast off your chest, but even with heated grips on and handguards on the bars my fingers would still go white in the cold. Heated gloves solves that, so having the right gear means riding any bike is nicer in the cold and damp
