Sunday 21st June

Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

In light of Juggs post at top of page 6 I invited Dave to tag along with the first group bearing in mind Phil (Robbo) said he's only doing part of the ride. That still stands but perhaps Nick and his friend could, as suggested, do the third group setting off at 09.30 so Juggs and Claire can still tag along with some of the gang as we sail through Chard. That leaves Dave open to either group. As it stands I'm expecting him to leave at 9.00 with me....his call. I'm sure all will be clear in the morning =:)

Was in a group of 12 or so last night and went past the police at least 3 times without being stopped and invited to discuss social distancing.

If they do a reg check none of us are local to each other so that will confuse them and we can deny all knowledge of each other 😜😜😜😜

That should be a small .itn file that you place in the itinerary folder on your TomTom.
Then when you open the software that "route" should be available to select as an itinerary, just select it and it should then calculate the route, if so check it carefully to make sure it has gone off track.
Are you deliberately sending him elsewhere :-? =))
Hi Jugs,
I tried uploading it into the TomTom MyDrive website but it seems to require a GPX file (I thought that was a kawasaki). However, I'll try just dumping in to the tomtom directly as you say.

Cheers

Try the link I did for Dave as that is a gpx file and will probably work better.

Just copied the itn file direct to the tom tom. INstalls a rout called sunday 21st June TomTom (2) and it just shows the initial location at Tiverton, not any stops or route...

Yep that works.

Well actually I imported it but just keeps the start and end points. TomTom software is utter pants. I ended up grabbing the coords listed for the points and just entering them. Thanks for giving it a go though.

Cheers

Hmm, glad I rode it this afternoon... Route works with bullet point guide and destinations with these new inventions called road signs.. They're frikkin excellent. They tell you what the road number is and where it's going and it means you're looking and observing what's around you rather than looking at a screen in way of your vision... Just saying :-bd \m/ =))
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

There's no way I want to get lost down there and end up "squealing like a pig" to a soundtrack of a Banjo or two.
