Sunday 14th June

Post by Red5 »

Right,
A few ride outs and lock down seems to be easing nicely... :ymhug:

Running an early start on Sunday 14th. Leaving Exeter services 0630 for a long progressive ride out. Familiar roads and maybe even some new ones, not 100% just now but bring your packed lunch/brunch and a flask. We will be covering nearer 200miles in total, traffic conditions pending. Home, Exeter, just after lunch ish, I'd imagine. Get your passes signed.

Come ready fuelled and set for some fun.
This will be a sensibly progressive spirited ride and overtakes will be on but with absolutely no speed records being set.

Fuel stop will be included and hopefully there'll be toilets available...

The forecast is still changeable for the weekend so will confirm nearer the time but it'll be fun to get out with a few of us.

:-bd B-) B-) \m/

Evening guys,

Looking at the forecast, found one that looks ok so will go with that one. This is still on.
Leaving Exeter Services 0630 and back to Exeter, hopefully just after lunch ish…
going to be a 200miler.
Incorporating mostly familiar roads, and one or two stretches of tarmac I'm unfamiliar with so hoping for a fun one.

Fuel stops to suit. bring your own food etc. I'll be taking a flask but hopefully a garage will have coffee. Loo stops tbc.

Going to be a fun long run, progressive pace. Drop off or stopping at junctions with rider behind in view dependant on numbers.

See folks tomorrow... :-bd :-bd

Great ride today. as home by late lunch... over over 200 miles and thoroughly don't enjoy riding in the wet :))

Everything was dry once we started to head west again. Up over Porlock Hill...

Thank you Nick Ish and Ming for a great day...
See y'all soon.

Glad you had a good ride Nick sorry should have let you know that I was not coming. My groveling and begging stopped when i saw the weather though I would save the day out for when there was sun shine again.

Glad that you had a good ride.
