As of 6.30 pm, the weather for most of the pm tomorrow is looking pretty good if you're a duck in mid/north Devon/north Somerset :-q
Conversely, it looks to be mostly dry to the south of that. So if the planned run gets binned I'm riding out anyway and will be doing an anti-clockwise loop from Exeter on minor A roads and good B roads; breakfast/coffee/whatever at Woodleigh's, Cheriton Bishop EX6 2JL, next coffee & cake stop - Louis Tea Rooms, Kit Hill PL17 8AX via Launceston; then Plymouth and see how it goes after that, but heading generaly east for home.
If Si's rideout is cancelled, I'll be at Woodleigh's around 10.00 a.m.

Brain has beaten heart. 100% cloud, intermittent rain all over.

See you next year.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Hopefully see you tomorrow.

Yeah, forecast looking west looks pretty 'damp'. We can still head east though maybe play around Somerset and Dorset.

Same time and place for leaving though.

07.05 and rain's just stopped at North Molton, but agree it's probably best to head East to stay dryer on the ride. See y'all at McDs :-bd

Thanks for the ride out this morning can’t believe that we managed to get a ride in this close to Christmas.

Sorry I had to disappear early but was on a time limit to get home.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of the ride looking forward to 2018 to do a few more.

Nice ride, thanks Si for leading and Robbo for finding the café and pee stop :-bd Managed to stay warm(ish) and found out that my new rain suit is actually waterproof though the Fazer will need at least 2 hours to scrub clean

I know, mid December and we're out doing miles!

Robbo showed us a top cafe in Dorchester that will certainly be getting another visit.

Had a bit of a detour on the way back due to a road closure. Cheers for Menzies, Robbo, Ptolymx and pebble for turning up.

I'm not saying it was a bit dirty out there, but....

Now that was a PROPER rideout - it even included an enforced detour that was virtualy off-road in places. We had just about all the famous UK weather could throw at us bar snow, and I for one enjoyed it greatly. Thanks to Si' for suggesting and leading, also to Ptolymx, Menzies & Pebbles for proving what hardy souls exist within the ranks of SWB.
