Summer friendly ride - Sunday 19th August, route posted

Post by billinom8s »

Same rules as the other friendlies (viewtopic.php?f=94&t=89587)

Route still to be decided but keep an eye out for developments. I'm guessing that as it's summer, it'll be of course blazing sunshine which means the roads will be teaming with grockles following their twatnavs so i'll try to come up with a route that keeps us away from a lot of the major routes. I emphasize try. :)):

So please put the date in your diaries along with the other runs popping up and we'll crack on.

Right now I would have to say nope and around 150 miles.
But that's over a few hours so don't get the impression it's a race.

We have other runs for that. =))

Have you looked up rttb on here??????

yes I spotted the RTTB first and have already put my mark down for that one. I'm eager to get out with other riders as I've recently suffered a hand injury and need to get back on the bike asap and its easy to get in a rut solo riding, I'm hoping it will broaden my appreciation of the area. I've only lived down in Cornwall a few years and I'm sure there is much more to explore on 2 wheels.

yep, plan a route and try to avoid as many towns as possible. i always try to avoid them, and motorways, some people, students, weak tea and dragging my knee on corners(i'm REALLY good at that one)

I'm based in Exeter and will escortyou back to Plymouth if that'll entice you. Sports bikes uncomfortable..? so you won't be riding to the Nurburgring anytime soon😂😂
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

how would folks feel if we made this a destination ride?

i was at a place today who said they could do a hog roast or something similar. The kind of place that partners could if they chose to, meet us there. Or not, depending on if you want to chill before going back home.
