Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Now then Jim, try and keep your enthusiasm for the likes of A.I.M. etc. under control  . I know someone who's got a sports bike, been on a D.A.M. course and still talks to the likes of us. He'll probably join us at the Eagle Tavern in fact; we'll be able to check if he's learned anything :-? .

Is he on a 1200GS? It'll go better, tell him, if he stops putting red diesel in it.

Seen all of the start points and the suggested route but could I ask what time (if at all) your planning to be done. Would like to join but need to negotiate the amount of time I get signed off in triplicate. :-)

Now that is a piece of string question Rob. If we assume Larry's section will be 2 hours riding with a 1 hour lunch stop and 1.25 hours to get back to Tiverton or 1.5 hours to South Molton then we might finish in north Devon around 3.30. You might get back down to the tropical south coast about 4.30....or earlier......or later :-?

Sun came out today so I recce'd the route also, thereby, scrubbing the new rear tyre. Had to make a couple of little changes but it seems good fun.

Must remind you lot that only 200 cigarettes (250 gm baccy) can be brought. Also 1 litre of spirits (to be given to the ride leader) and up to £400 in scones, cream and strawberry jam.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Recce'd the route from Tivvy to Sheppun yesterday. Roads all clear, no roadworks/diversions :D Traffic was light, even for a sunny Saturday so managed to make good progress

Classified as "brisk" on page 2. Take that as semi-spirited. Socially friendly but pace-wise we'll be making progress I should imagine.
